Neo Sufisme Al-Ghazali

Abstract

In Islamic Mysticism, Al-Ghazai Known as prominent figure which have given new nuance of tasawuf, so it can be accepted by syariat`s scholar, while previously islamic scholars accused tasawuf people as one who deviate from Islam, like tasawuf taught by al-Bustami and al-Hallaj. The philosopher`s journey on spiritua-esoteric ocean, finaly reaching the essence of makrifat, finding heart stillness. The appereance of this sufi intasawuf scene progressively add the spectrum of tasawuf world, by makrifat understanding different with Zunnun al-Misri`s, al-Ghazali succeed to bring acceptance of tasawuf among syariat`s scholar.
